How to create a Chocolate Dream
Short on time but still want to create a cake that will impress any chocoholic? PME have made it super easy with their delicious range of flavoured chocolate curls and mini cigarellos!
Easy and quick to follow this is suitable for all skill levels.
You will need:
9” (228mm), 7” (178mm), 6” (152mm),
5” (127mm) & 4” (101mm) round cakes
12” (305mm) round cake board
PME Buttercream Icing Mix x 2 pkts
3mm Ribbon of choice (optional)
9” Cake - 1¼ tubs PME Belgian Dark
Chocolate Curls + 2 tubs PME Mini Cigarellos
7” Cake - 1½ tubs PME Belgian Milk Chocolate
Curls + 1½ tubs PME Mini Cigarellos
6” Cake - ¾ tub PME Belgian Caramel Chocolate
Curls + 1 tub PME Mini Cigarellos
5” Cake - ½ tub PME Strawberry Belgian
Chocolate Curls + ¾ tub PME Mini Cigarellos
4” Cake - ¼ tub PME White Belgian Chocolate
Curls + ½ tub PME Mini Cigarellos
Instructions:
1 - Using a palette knife coat the cake in an even coating of buttercream icing. | |
2 - Sprinkle both the top and sides of the cakes with the different flavoured chocolate curls for each tier. | |
3 - Arrange the mini cigarellos around the base of the cake and repeat process for additional tiers. | |
4 - Stack your cakes and add a ribbon of your choice around the cake board for the perfect finishing touch. |
