This concentrated food colouring paste is ideal to colour any type of icing such as sugarpaste, gum paste, royal icing and butter icing as well as cake mixes.
When mixing into icing use sparingly to achieve a pastel shade or add more to give a strong, vibrant colour - the consistency will not change too much!
If used for painting onto dried paste dilute a little with clear spirit or rejuvenator spirit. Water may also be used but will not dry as quickly or give as good a finish.
Please note this highly concentrated colour will darken slightly on drying.
