What’s more, Squires Kitchen paste food colours (also known as gel colours) are all free from glycerine, which can prevent icing from setting, so they are what you need to use when complete drying is essential. They will not alter the consistency of paste or icing. The Quality Food Colour (QFC) range is also fully-intermixable, allowing you to achieve the exact shade you want.

Store in a cool, dark place
1. Add small amounts of paste colour at a time to achieve the desired shade
2. Use no more than an average of 1 level teaspoon (5g) of colour per 500g of icing
