Make your bakes shine with Sugarflair’s Satin Pastes! The Satin Paste range offers edible paste colours that are matt with a slight sheen finish, ideal for adding a nice gleam to your cakes and edible decorations. Enhance your shine with edible lustre or glitter for super glitzy decorations. Use a small amount of colour for a pretty pastel shade, or add a little more product to achieve an intense, vibrant colour. These paints work great with sugar paste, royal icing, buttercream and cake batter.
Add colour to your mixture sparingly. Add a little at a time, and build up to your desired shade, as it is easier to add than it is to remove an excess of colour. Apply colour using a cocktail stick or toothpick. If you want to use as an edible paint, dilute the paste with a little rejuvenator spirit. Work with natural light to achieve the most accurate colour.
