This food-grade, flexible, silicone rolling mat allows you to knead and roll sugarpaste without the added stress of it sticking and ripping, so you can enjoy crafting, decorating and covering with minimal effort. It can also be used for crafting isomalt, or as a baking mat for cookies, macarons and more – it is oven safe and can handle temperatures up to 240°C.
It features accurate guides and measurements, along with a sugarpaste quantity guide, printed on its surface to help determine the amount of fondant required for your cake and to precisely cover cakes and craft decorations.
Please note: the guide is based on The Sugar Paste’s sugarpaste – other brands might differ slightly.
Mat dimensions: 36” x 24”.
Do not use a knife or other abrasive object with this mat.
Knead your sugarpaste until soft. If you’re colouring your sugarpaste, add your colours.
Roll out your sugarpaste on the mat, using the measurements as a guide. Carefully peel the sugarpaste of the mat and drape over your cake to cover.
Cleaning and storage: Wash in warm, soapy water and allow to dry thoroughly before the first use and after every other use. Roll or fold and store in original packaging. This item is also dishwasher safe.
It is recommended that you use wooden or plastic tools for rolling and modelling.
